Scheduled

Dear partner
We would like to inform you about the upcoming scheduled maintenance of our network platform, planned for November 18th, from 23:00 to 02:00.

What's the maintenance about?
Executive Summary:
We are upgrading our network to improve performance, reliability, and capacity. This includes optimizing traffic flow and reducing potential points of failure, ensuring a more resilient and faster experience for all partners.

Technical Details:
The maintenance involves moving gateway IPs to a team.blue router and isolating our MX routers from the network path.
Additionally, we will move the BGP announcements between Cloud Factory and team.blue. This further removes points of failure in the network path, secures traffic flow, and allows us to utilize higher-bandwidth links.
We are doing this to reduce latency and improve overall network resilience.

Risk assessment:
Our evaluation indicates a low risk of impact. We will follow best practices and verify progress throughout the process.

Impact:
Firewalls might experience a few packet drops to the internet but should quickly recover.
No impact is expected within VLANs.

Fallback plan:
In the event of any issues, we have a fallback plan in place, allowing us to roll back and reactivate the interfaces on the MX routers.

Best regards
